In his book, The Scent of Love, Keith Miller observes that the idea of an ‘evangelistic program’ would not have made sense to New Testament Christians. Evangelism, for them, “was the gospel message simply overflowing from their adventure with Christ and each other."
Some folks who are interested in sharing their Christian faith with others concentrate more on the how-to than on their own experience of being in Christ. When our relationship with Christ is genuine and growing, that love and grace has the tendency to spill over in loving ways. This, then, is the beginning point of evangelism.
