Acts 3:6 'Peter said, "I have no silver and gold, but I give you what I have. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, walk."'
I expect these days, especially, we can identify with Peter in having limited funds! But we're also acutely aware that we don't have the capacity to respond to needs the way that apostle did. We might wish we could, or feel somewhat guilty that we don't, wondering if this is a manifestation of weak faith. But another way of thinking about this could be that too often our approach to missions and evangelism is to only "give money" rather than to give what we have, that is, our reliance on Christ, our compassion and concern inspired by Christ -- indeed to give ourselves as Christ gave himself. We are not qualified to say to someone, "Rise, and walk," obviously. But do we feel qualified to say, "Such as I have, I give to you?"
