2 Cor. 5:20ff – “Ambassadors for Christ.... We put no obstacle in any one’s way...”

To be an “ambassador for Christ” suggests that we manage our own lives in a way that strives to be consistent with the “policies” of the One we represent. The Apostle Paul was concerned to place no obstacle in someone else’s path, anything that might cause that person to turn aside from the call of Christ. Lent is a time to ask ourselves if our way of life matches our espoused values. Do we practice what we preach, really?
